About

Research peptides, supplied properly.

Kinotype is a Texas-based supplier of research-grade peptides and reconstitution supplies. We sell to laboratories and researchers in Texas, and everything we ship is intended for laboratory research use only — never for human or veterinary use.

What we do

We source lyophilized peptides, verify what we receive against the paperwork that comes with it, and supply them in sealed single-use vials with the bacteriostatic water needed to reconstitute them. Every compound in the catalog is listed with its molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number and sequence, so a researcher can confirm they are ordering the molecule they mean to order before adding it to a cart.

We keep the catalog deliberately narrow. It is easier to stand behind a short list of compounds we actually understand than a long one assembled to look comprehensive.

Why the science matters to us

Peptides are fragile, specific things. A single wrong residue makes a different molecule. A batch that is 99% pure by peak area can still be mostly counter-ion and water by mass. Two vials labelled the same can behave differently if one carries trifluoroacetate the other does not. None of this is visible in a photograph of a vial, and none of it is captured by the word "purity" on its own.

That is the reason our product pages carry the actual chemistry rather than marketing adjectives, and the reason we publish and explain the full test panel behind a certificate instead of quoting one number from it. Researchers should be able to evaluate what they are buying on the evidence.

How we handle quality

  • Documented per batch. Certificates of Analysis are tied to a specific production lot — batch number, test results and issue date — not to a compound in the abstract. See what every test on a certificate means →
  • Chemistry on the page. Formula, molecular weight, CAS and sequence are published for each compound and checked against public chemical databases rather than copied from other vendors.
  • Sealed and lyophilized. Vials ship sealed, in powder form, packaged discreetly, and are not opened or repackaged by us.
  • Research use only. We do not give dosing guidance, we do not make health claims, and we do not sell for human or veterinary use. That line is not negotiable.
